Language Honor Society inducts new members
On Tuesday, February 28, 96 students were inducted into their respective language honor societies: the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (Spanish Honor Society), the Société Honoraire Française (French Honor Society), and the National Latin Honor Society. Each of the inductees are in the third level of their language class or higher, have maintained an “A” average. The Sister of Mercy Language Arts Scholarship was also awarded. The scholarship goes to a sophomore who has achieved excellence in Spanish, and this year’s recipient was Jawanna Onuoha.
