Scarlett Lane ’25 sees who the SJC community thinks will win

This year, the 57th annual Super Bowl is being held in Glendale, Arizona. The Super Bowl is unique and special this year. The Chiefs coach, Andy Reed was a former coach of the Eagles. He led them to a Super Bowl against the New England Patriots in 2004. They lost that year, and in 2012 he went to Kansas City. In the past 4 years, the Chiefs have gone to three of four Super Bowls.  

This is also the first time in history that two brothers are playing against each other. Jason and Travis Kelce are meeting head-to-head. Each of them has one Super Bowl championship ring. Jason Kelsey plays center for the Philidelphia Eagles, and Travis Kelsey plays tight end on the Chiefs.   

This Superbowl is Rhianna’s return to performing live. Her latest release was “Lift Me Up,” for the new Black Panther movie. That was her first release since 2016.  Everyone is looking forward to the star’s return to music, and it may mark an upcoming new album.
