Senior Field Hockey players reflect on season

Amelia Haywood 

Position: Forward 

Time on the team: Has played on the field hockey team all 4 years 

Favorite memory: Beating Good Counsel her junior year 

Goal for this season: Win the WCAC championship  

Therese Osborn  

Position: Defense 

Time on the team: Was manager her sophomore year, and has been playing on the team since  junior year 

Favorite memory: The bus rides to and from away games, but specifically the bus rides to Ryken  Goal for this season: WIN THE SHIP! 

Devin Ryan 

Position: Forward 

Time on the team: Has played on the team all 4 years 

Favorite memory: The bus ride back from Ryken, they got Chick-fil-a and had a dance party in  the bus.  

Goal for this season: Bring the trophy back to Military road! 

Maddie Haverback  

Position: Goalie 

Time on the team: Has played on the team all 4 years 

Favorite memory: The bus ride home from Ryken game her sophomore year, the varsity team  played Taylor Swift and they all danced and sang their hearts out. It was such a powerful team  bonding moment and it is one that she will never forget.

Goal for this season: Her goal is to stay positive throughout the season, even when things don’t  go the way she wants them to. She has to continue to stay true to her character and maintain a  healthy mindset. 

Megan Draley 

Position: She previously played defense, but is the manager this year 

Time on the team: Has been on the team all 4 years 

Favorite memory: Her favorite memory with the team was the JV game against stone ridge her  freshman year when they won by one point.  

Goal for this season: Her goal is for the team to go undefeated and win the championship.
