This January, SJC welcomed a new face to the social studies department, Mr. Baum. Mr. Baum takes over for Dr. Carter and will teach AP Psychology and regular Psychology. Mr. Baum grew up in Washington, DC, and previously taught for eight years at Catholic schools in the Diocese of Arlington.

The girls’ ice hockey team has welcomed two new coaches – Varsity Coach Katie Woodruff and JV Coach Hillary Murphy. They said they are very happy about how this season has been looking for the girls. Coach Murphy is from Rockville, MD, and is a St. John’s alumnus from 2005.
